Line 6 Introduces Compact Spider V 20 Practice Amplifier

Calabasas, California, United States
English

Line 6® today introduced the Spider® V 20 practice amplifier. The amplifier’s easy-to-use controls and compact size make it the ideal practice amp for any guitarist.

“Guitarists of all skill levels need a great-sounding, versatile practice amp that enables them to play their unique style, whatever genre that might be,” said Brandon Frenzel, Spider V Product Manager. “Spider V 20 offers an essential collection of presets, familiar controls that make it fast and easy to plug in and start practicing with great tone. With even more amp models and effects available via the editor software and USB connectivity, makes Spider V 20 is a powerful tool that makes practicing easier and more fun.”

Designed to sound great right out of the box, the Spider V 20 amp features an intuitive interface with color-coded controls and dedicated front-panel buttons that make it easy to plug in and begin practicing. Sixteen diverse amp and effect presets can accommodate any style of music, including acoustic and bass presets. Each preset contains three effects that can be switched in and out stompbox-style using the dedicated FX buttons on the front panel.

Spider V 20 also includes features that make practicing easier and more fun. A dedicated reverb control adds atmosphere and depth, while a Tap/Tuner button enables guitarists to tap in delay times and modulation rates to match songs they are playing along with. Guitarists can also hold the Tap/Tuner button to access the onboard tuner and quickly tune their instrument.

Standing less than a foot tall and weighing only 11 pounds (5 kg), Spider V 20 is the ideal practice amp for guitarists on the go. But despite its small size, Spider V 20 delivers 20 watts of power and can get loud. Spider V 20 also includes a 1/8" stereo headphone jack, for practicing quietly.

Connect Spider V 20 to a Mac®, PC, or mobile device via the Micro USB port, and use the free Spider V Remote application to access additional amps and effects, edit presets, and create custom presets that are compatible with all the amps in the Spider V Series. Guitarists can also record, edit, and mix performances using Steinberg’s Cubase LE application, a free download with registration of Spider V 20 amp.

Pricing & Availability

Spider V 20 ($179.99 MSRP) will be available in July of 2018 in the United States and then will become available in the rest of the world through August of 2018.
