AER Introduces 3rd Generation of its Best-Selling Compact 60

United States
January 2nd, 2013 – German amp manufacturer AER (Audio Electric Research) has introduced the 3rd generation of its Compact 60 – the powerful little acoustic amp that has become the trusted solution of pro players around the globe including Tommy Emmanuel, Joe Robinson, Al Di Meola, and more.

The Compact-60/3 features a smaller and lighter cabinet (12 mm Finnish birch plywood), representing 15 % reduction in weight while offering the same performance.

The newest version also boasts a slight voicing-modification to the overtones, resulting in an improved response to modern percussive playing styles. Finally, the gig bag included with the version 3 is now sleeker, offering a more professional look.

The ultra-portable amp still offers the same outstanding reproduction of acoustic instruments and vocals that has made it an industry standard and a favourite of performing guitarists and singer-songwriters everywhere.

About AER
Hand-built in Germany, AER amps are widely considered to be the hallmark of acoustic amplification. Since 1992, the company has used high-quality components, sophisticated circuit technology, and precision craftsmanship to convert their designs into unrivaled solutions for acoustic, electric and bass instruments.
