Ibanez Offers Rockabilly Players A New Cool

December 14th, 2010 – (Bensalem, PA) — Traditionally, the AFS line of guitars has been geared towards jazz music and musicians. Now, Ibanez is broadening its reach into new genres and styles.

Recognizing that Rockabilly players want their guitar to sound just as slamming as it looks, Ibanez is offering two new guitars in its AFS series that do both.

The AFS80T is vintage vibrato equipped and features a three-piece mahogany neck and all-maple body for clear, bright natural tone. Dual ACH covered humbucking pickups take that tone and add warmth and smoothness. Sure Grip III control knobs with rubber fittings provide no-slip adjustment, supporting accurate volume and tone control.

Available in flashy Roadstar Green Metallic or Roadstar Orange Metallic finishes, both sport a slick white double stripe, and clear pickguard, giving them a totally modern, yet classic, Rockabilly look.
