2010 Avanti Fund Music Education Scholarships
These scholarships are open to all graduating high school seniors or undergraduate college students pursuing a degree in instrumental music education at an accredited college or university. The scholarships will be awarded for undergraduate study in Music Education. The scholarships will be applied to tuition costs at an accredited college or university offering an undergraduate degree in music education and must be used for study leading toward that degree. The eligibility requirements are (1) the applicant must be a high school senior or undergraduate college student in good standing, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (unweighted), (2) must have participated in one or more school music programs during each year of high school attendance at the time of the application, (3) the applicant must state his or her intention to pursue undergraduate study in the field of music education, and (4) the applicant must have completed his or her high school curriculum by June 30 of the application year.
