Takamine Expands Tradesman Series With Fingerstyle Model

United States
English
January 27, 2010 — Built with luthier selected solid tone woods, Takamine’s Tradesman series of “purpose built” professional acoustic-electric guitars reflect the highest level of commitment to the art and craft of guitar making. The T stands for TONE, TRADITION and TAKAMINE.

Takamine’s new T series TF740FS Fingerstyle guitar includes all of the attributes that the solo fingerstyle artist demands from a pro level instrument. A 1 7/8” nut width tapers to a finger friendly 2 7/32” string spread at the bridge. The neck joins the body at the 12th fret and the slotted peghead lends a “boutique” look. Other noteworthy features include a solid Spruce top with Tortoise binding, solid Mahogany back and sides, Ebony fretboard and Abalone rosette.

Powered by Takamine’s CTP-2 on board tube preamp, the sonic capabilities are outstanding while the acoustic voice is powerful and precisely balanced. Retail: $2429
