January 28, 2010 — Ovation is proud to introduce the new Adamas Kaki King Signature model (1581-KK). Kaki has played Adamas guitars for most of her career, and the exact custom guitar that Kaki performs with is now being offered as part of Adamas’ 2010 line-up.
The Adamas is the perfect instrument for Kaki’s unique playing style. From her imaginative open tunings, percussive rhythms on the body, or to her astonishing use of the entire fingerboard range – Kaki truly brings out the best in what Adamas guitars have to offer. Features include a black carbon fiber top, smooth suspended top to the body ring, Adamas fan bracing, multi soundholes (bass side only), 5-piece Mahogany/Maple neck, Ovation High Output pickup and OP Pro preamp. Signature Kaki King aesthetics include a white Kaki King style epaulet, and crown logo inlay on the 12th fret.
