Announcing AAMF (Asian American Music Festival) 2010, October 15-17, 2010
The Asian American Music Festival (AAMF) is the world’s leading festival celebrating Asian American music: jazz, world, hip-hop and beyond. AAMF celebrates the artistic and creative achievements of Asian American, Asian, and Asian Pacific Islander (API) artists in all genres of music.
AAMF is a 3-day international music festival featuring concerts, dance, and educational programming. Formerly the Asian American Jazz Festival, AAMF was founded by Paul Im of Disruptive Management, LLC. The AAMF team is comprised of Los Angeles area presenters, entrepreneurs, and artists.
AAMF 2009 (AAJF 2009) featured international stars Hiromi, Charmaine Clamor, and Prelude, and 16 other Asian musical artists from Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Honolulu, Tokyo, Taipei, and Seoul.
AAMF’s mission is to present, promote, and celebrate the creative, innovative, and cultural visions of Asian American, Asian, and API artists. Through concerts and educational programs, AAJF provides a venue and a voice for the vibrant Asian, Asian American, and API cultural identity.
