Customers Given the Option to Choose Between Skullcap and Ripley Designs

MIAMI, FL - June 9, 2008 - Alienware - the leading manufacturer of desktop, notebook and entertainment systems - announces that customers will now have the option of configuring the Area-51® m15x notebook with either the popular Ripley case design or, for the first time, the classic Skullcap look.

“Skullcap is one of Alienware’s most enduring icons,” said Bryan de Zayas, Associate Director for Product Marketing at Alienware, “as well as one of the most instantly identifiable notebook designs ever. Hardcore fans love the Skullcap design and we’re excited to offer it to them on the Area-51 m15x.”

The Skullcap case design, initially being offered in silver, represents both a nod to the past and a look toward the future for Alienware. By updating Skullcap to feature the same sleek look and feel as the critically acclaimed Ripley design, the Area-51 m15x represents an evolutionary advancement in notebook aesthetics.

“Most importantly,” continued de Zayas, “launching Skullcap on the Area-51 m15x notebooks is an example of Alienware delivering the same type of aggressive style we pioneered while still redefining the look of tomorrow.”
