Native Instruments Launches The Guitar Rig Hero Video Contest
With YouTube already populated by a multitude of home-made GUITAR RIG videos, Native Instruments now calls on all users of its digital guitar studio to take their performance to the next level. The GUITAR RIG HERO contest allows everyone to compete for a range of valuable prizes including several Gibson guitars, a Quad Core-powered Fujitsu-Siemens laptop, various NI products and more. A further reward is the attention of the international YouTube community and of the high-profile GUITAR RIG HERO jury that features artists like Deftones, Dweezil Zappa, Mogwai and many others.
Participants are asked to capture a video of their most original and spectacular performance using GUITAR RIG 3, without any sonic or artistic limitations applying. Musicians who don’t own GUITAR RIG 3 can download the full-featured demo version from the NI website and use it for the contest.
Submissions for GUITAR RIG HERO will be accepted until September 30th, and the winners will be determined on October 14th. On top of the public voting by the YouTube community, the artist jury will judge the ten most popular entries for an additional grand prize.
