The 22-inch Bass Drum supports a traditional 2-up, 2-down set-up.
“There are a lot of players out there that will play jazz one night a week and have a rock or pop gig three nights a week,” explains Joe Hibbs, Mapex USA Artist Relations and Product Development Manager. “These player need more than one drum set to suit their needs and the Pop to Bop allows them the option of three popular configurations from one component pack.”
The Pop to Bop Toms are equipped with REMO Coated Ambassador Batter heads.
The Pop to Bop Component pack can be set up as a six-piece pop set using the 22, 10, 12, 14 and 16 or a 4-piece jazz set-up by using the 20, 10 and 14. The 12 can also be added to the 20, 10, 14 for even more versatility.
For the traditional jazzer, throw the 20, 10 and 14 in the back and you’re good to go.
Pop to Bop toms are equipped with Remo® Coated Ambassador batter heads. Snare drums and hardware are sold separately. The Saturn Pop to Bop Component Pack (SW628XUNL) is only available in Mapex’s most popular Gloss Natural finish and its MSRP is $2,865.99.
