The Theme of Rothbury is Solutions to Climate Change and Alternative Sustainability. Every aspect of the festival will support the mission, including production, travel, sponsorship and fan interaction. ROTHBURY will be the first to tackle producing a near zero waste around-the-clock (camping) festival in the USA. Music and message are the glue for this unique and progressive entertainment event, which brings together a distinct new festival community of “early adopters” from all generations. The Festival will consist of 7 stages and over 70 bands including Dave Matthews Band, Modest Mouse, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Beth Orton, Drive-By Truckers, Of Montreal, Ray LaMontagne, The Beautiful Girls, The Black Keys, Colbie Caillat, Emmitt / Nershi Band, Jakob Dylan and the Green Mountain Rebels, Juan MacLean, Gomez, The Dynamites featuring Charles Walker, Medeski Martin & Wood, JJ Grey & MOFRO. ROTHBURY is committed to delivering the most innovative experiential and empowering festival by integrating music, art, dance, science, cause and human exploration. This camping music festival is an immersive experience, engaging fans in a deep way. The festival will be produced using renewable energy sources and environmental support services.
As part of the sponsorship, Epiphone, part of the Gibson family of brands, will support Rothbury Festival’s Music in Schools program. The program supports music education in the local schools, by providing thirty (30) new Epiphone guitars which will be donated to The Montague Area Schools and the Shelby High School Jazz Band.
