United States
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – 2 January 2008 — ProgRock Records and Galileo Records are proud to announce their new strategic partnership where ProgRock Records will distribute the latest Galileo Records titles in early 2008 starting with Moongarden “Songs from the Lighthouse” and Simon Says “Tardigrade”. ProgRock Records has commissioned the acclaimed distributor Ryko to extend its reach into all of the major chains and online shops in North America and European powerhouse SPV for Europe.

Shawn Gordon, President of ProgRock Records had this to say, “Patrick at Galileo and I have been working together for years, he’s sold my CD’s, I’ve sold his CD’s, his catalog is on Mindawn and it got to a point where it made some sense for us to partner to put out some of his releases in to our international channel to benefit all the involved parties. I’m very excited to begin this new phase of our partnership.”.

Patrick Becker, President of Galileo Records adds, “I am very proud about the cooperation with ProgRock Records as I believe that Shawn Gordon is a very active person who does an outstanding job for the bands under his rooster.”.
