Alfred Publishing Congratulates Talented American Music Award Winners

LOS ANGELES, CA — November 21, 2007 — The 35th Annual American Music Awards, aired on Sunday, November 18, 2007 on ABC, featured many of today’s most talented and revered artists. Alfred Publishing Co., Inc., exclusive publisher of songbooks and sheet music for several top AMA winners including Tim McGraw, Nickelback and Carrie Underwood, proudly congratulates the 2007 award winners. “It’s an honor and a privilege to help musicians around the globe play and enjoy great music that has been made famous by this amazing roster of award-winning artists,” said Alfred’s Executive Vice President Ron Manus.

The hit band Nickelback took home the coveted American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Band. Country music legend Tim McGraw needs little introduction. Consistently topping the charts with his popular hits, Tim took home the esteemed Favorite Country Male Artist award. The sheet music to Tim McGraw’s latest hit single “If You’re Reading This,” off his album Let It Go, is available now from Alfred, as well his Greatest Hits songbook and a number of Tim’s other No. 1 hits. We salute you, Tim!

America’s latest leading lady in the country arena, none other than the great Carrie Underwood, took home a number of awards. Carrie received the prestigious Favorite Country Female Artist award as well as the award for Favorite Country Album based on her 2005 release, Some Hearts. In addition, Carrie proved once again to be a fan favorite by walking away with the special T-Mobile Text-In Award as fans from across the nation texted in to vote Carrie as their favorite artist of the night. Alfred is pleased to offer the songbook to Some Hearts as well as many other favorites including her latest hit single, “So Small.” We applaud you, Carrie!
