24 October 2007 - Since completing the move from its old facility to a brand new factory close to California’s Santa Rosa Airport, EMG has made a number of strategic new personnel appointments. The first of these is Andy Gravelle, who will now act as Chief Operating Officer. Formerly Vice President of Business Development at electronic manufacturing services company, Jetronics, Gravelle has taken over responsibility for the day to day running of EMG, thus allowing company founder, Rob Turner, to spend increasing amounts of time developing new products. Commenting on his newly created position Gravelle reveals he’s inspired by the state of the company amidst booming growth and solid customer satisfaction with its products. “Formalising operations is a natural move for EMG in this well earned growth cycle,” reveals the COO, “not to mention the benefits of allowing Rob to focus his attention on R&D. I am both thrilled and honoured to be a part of this organisation.” Said EMG President, Rob Turner, “I’m really looking forward to having Andy bring EMG to a new level and look forward to his contributions towards securing the future of this company.”

With WeImprovise! I set out to build a different kind of promotion & discovery platform — supportive, expansive, & inclusive, for music, musicians (students, performers, educators, & researchers), and the wide-ranging industry that supports music worldwide.
The focus is jazz, blues, & roots-folk-world music — incidentally the music that feeds pop & rock creativity — along with the inclusion of cultural & sociological aspects without which the music cannot truly be engaged with.
What you see is the beginning, a proof of concept to demonstrate possibilities and inspire ideas.
