While Antares products have long been part of Berklee audio production curricula, the new partnership provides additional opportunity for Berklee faculty to use and evaluate current and future Antares vocal processing tools and incorporate them into their professional recording and production curriculum. Those tools can easily be acquired for Berklee recording labs and also made available to Berklee students.
According to Berklee’s Dean of Music Technology, Stephen Croes, “Berklee’s music production departments teach students the most contemporary and advanced methods used in the music production industry. So of course we have been fortunate to work with Antares for many years now, teaching their industry-standard programs throughout our labs, classrooms, and studios. This new alignment goes even deeper into our educational mission, creating direct and valuable new opportunities for students and faculty to interact with an industry leader.”
“We are extremely pleased to partner with the Berklee College of Music,” said Marco Alpert, Antares Vice President of Marketing. “Berklee is world-renowned for the quality of its professional recording and audio design programs and we welcome the opportunity to make it even easier for Berklee to ensure that their students gain expertise in all Antares products, including the recently released Harmony Engine, as well as products like Auto-Tune 5 and AVOX that have become standards in professional vocal production.”
