Harman Music Group Appoints Steve Johnson To The Position Of Vice President Of Marketing [ Summer NAMM 2007 ]
In his new position, Steve Johnson will be instrumental in directing global marketing strategies and communications as well as being responsible for identifying and analyzing trends in the professional audio, live sound, MI, sound contracting and fixed installation market sectors. In addition, Johnson will continue to identify new market segments and emerging market opportunities for the Harman Music Group of companies.
With a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) from Kansas State University, Steve Johnson’s wealth of experience and long-term dedication in the high-technology market sector forms the foundation for his new role at HMG. He most recently held the position of Director of Product Marketing at Motorola’s Mobile Devices business, and prior to that was Vice President, Global Marketing for Shure Inc.
