Popular Sonoran™ SCE Acoustic comes in Lake Placid Blue, Candy Apple Red, Shoreline Gold and Surf Green

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (July 19, 2007) — The aptly named Fender California Series just got even more “California” thanks to the addition of four classic custom colors on the Sonoran SCE model that scream all-things Fender — Lake Placid Blue, Candy Apple Red, Shoreline Gold and Surf Green. These four new color options are in addition to the already cool vibe emanating from the Sonoran SCE, which features a Fender-designed cutaway dreadnought body, the venerable Stratocaster® headstock and checkerboard rosette.

Additionally, the Fender California Series Sonoran SCE acoustic guitar includes a spruce top, laminated mahogany back and sides, maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and “C”-shape neck, the Fender FTE-3 pickup system, and a new traditional bridge.

“We wanted to get back to what the essence of Fender Acoustics is, which is having fun,” said Jim Bryant, Marketing Manager, Acoustics. “Just imagine strumming these babies on the beach with your friends by the campfire. That’s what Fender Acoustics are all about!”

Fender California Series Sonoran SCE acoustic guitars are available in Lake Placid Blue, Candy Apple Red, Shoreline Gold and Surf Green at Fender dealers worldwide with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $429.99.
