Gretsch Expands Custom Hammered Antique Copper Snare Offering With New Sizes [ Winter NAMM 2007 ]

21 December 2006 — Gretsch’s Hammered Antique Copper Shell snare drums will receive two new size additions in 2007: 6″x13″ and 6-1/2″x14″. Each size is articulate and features a dry, dark voice that cuts with clarity then quickly dissipates. Because these drums produce few overtones, they are very well suited for studio and live-mic’d applications. Finished in beautiful Antique Copper, these drums offer a unique look to complement their unique tone.
