12 January 2007 — Schecter Guitar has announced that the ULTRA has been redesigned for 2007.
The new “07 ULTRA has taken on the modern-retro sculptured contours of the Ultra-III. While the Ultra-III screams pawnshop prize vintage, the new Ultra’s dual humbuckers make it a formidable rock guitar.
In addition to the dual Seymour Duncan Designed HB-102 humbuckers, the mahogany body features a 25 ½″ scale set-in neck. This 3pc. Mahogany neck is topped with a bound 22-fret rosewood fingerboard and crème dot inlays.
The combination of the TonePros bridge system and the Ultra’s raised center slab add natural sustain and clarity.
Other key features include “Pull to Tap” on the Tone control, which split the 102 humbuckers to emulate the brightness of a single coil, Grover tuners, 2pc oversize scratch plates and new custom Schecter emblem.
Available in Gloss Black and Vintage Crème.
