12 January 2007 — The newest addition to Schecter’s extremely popular Hellraiser Collection is the Hellraiser Tempest.
One of the original Diamond Series models, this Tempest has been hot-rodded for pure metal.
A 24¾″ scale 3-pc. Mahogany neck is set into the arched mahogany body. The 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is inlaid with Black Pearl “Gothic” Crosses.
The new Tempest differs slightly from the other Hellraiser series guitars, with the utilization of EMG Active 85/60A humbuckers, yielding the massive attack, definition and sustain that has made the Schecter Hellraiser the hottest rock guitar of 2006, but with a bit more warmth.
Grover tuners and a locking TonePros bridge are standard features usually reserved for guitars costing much more.
The HELLRAISER TEMPEST will be available in Black Cherry (which also features a Quilted maple top and Abalone trim) and Gloss Black.
