Schecter C-1 Exotic Star [ Winter NAMM 2007 ]

United States
English
12 January 2007 — A stunning combination of many of Schecter’s most popular features, the new C-1 EXOTIC STAR will turn heads both sonically and visually!

The crème-bound arched Mahogany body is matched with a highly figured Quilted Maple top, which is further enhanced by a hand-rubbed finish process, creating a deep, unique 3-D look!

The 3-pc. Mahogany neck is set into the body utilizing Schecter’s “Ultra Access” neck joint, which provides unobstructed playability to all of the Exotic’s 24 jumbo frets. The bound 25.5” scale ebony fingerboard features a lone “Nautical Star” at the 12th fret, which is color-matched to the instrument’s finish.

The Exotic Star is armed with dual Schecter SuperRock II humbuckers adorned with wood laminate bobbins, which are also color-coordinated to the finish, adding to the guitar’s stunning looks.

Much more than a pretty face, the Exotic Star yields powerful, open, rock tones, perfect for all styles. Additional tonal variety is added when the instrument’s TONE control is pulled up, which “taps” the humbuckers for “single coil” sounds. This feature was pioneered by Schecter Guitar Research in 1976 and is used on many of today’s Schecter instruments!

Other upscale features include a TonePros bridge, Grover tuners and Black Chrome hardware.

The C-1 EXOTIC STAR is available in three distinct new finishes: Lava Red, Snow Leppard and Cayman Blue

MSRP: $949.00

Note: A Left-handed version is available in Cayman Blue (MSRP $999.00)
