Today, the Hohner Group consists of Matth. Hohner AG, the holding, as the parent company, with the following subsidiaries — Hohner Musikinstrumente GmbH & Co. KG and Sonor GmbH & Co. KG in Germany; Hohner SA in France; Hohner, Inc. in the USA; Hohner-Sonor AG in Switzerland; Hohner Pisek in Czech Republic, as well as two joint-venture companies: the world-famous Hohner Conservatory in Trossingen and Hohner-Lansheng, Ltd. in Shanghai, China.
Traditionally, harmonicas, accordions, recorders and melodicas, as well as Sonor drums, are still the main production items in Germany. However, as the founder Matthias Hohner said himself, “the world is my field”, and today the company reports proudly that its excellent products are not only sold worldwide, but are also produced worldwide. As a successfully globalized enterprise, Hohner has a responsibility to pursue every opportunity to obtain the best resources from around the world in order to ensure that the customers get the best possible value from the company.
