London, 22 November 2006 — Sibelius — the world leader in music notation software — today announce that SibeliusMusic.com, the largest collection of new music scores on the web, now offers over 60,000 shared music scores, including classical, rock, jazz and choral. All scores can be downloaded, printed, played-back and transposed and using the free Scorch web browser plug-in, or edited with Sibelius 4 - the world’s best-selling music notation software.

SibeliusMusic.com now has over 65,000 members around the world, who can download, review and upload scores for a range of different musical instruments and ensembles.

The majority of scores on SibeliusMusic.com are completely free of charge, while others are charged at fair prices to support working musicians. In addition, a range of SibeliusMusic Stores offer music from many of the most prestigious names in music publishing.

Since its inception, SibeliusMusic has helped musicians around the world to benefit from their arrangements and compositions. “Sibelius offeres a place to sell my arrangements on the internet, safely and securely.” says Joel Jacklich, a keen composer and music teacher from California, USA. “Since signing up, I have had over 700,000 views of my pieces, and over 1285 scores (and many more sets of parts) sold in over 30 countries.”
