Native Instruments is tipped to be showcasing some major new software releases alongside recent innovations including Massive and Kore, and UK NI distributor Arbiter will also be demonstrating the new Cubase 4 and Cubase 4 studio in the Steinberg theatre. A new “must-have” plug-in version of Celemony’s award-winning Melodyne software will be another Sounds Expo highlight.
Elsewhere, Source Distribution will have brand new PreSonus FireStudio and V-Fire Firewire Recording Interfaces, Sony Oxford’s Audio Units Plug-Ins and the Universal Audio DCS Remote Preamp on display. In conjunction with Digital Village there will be show specials on a whole range of products from Rode, Event, PreSonus, Sony Oxford and Universal Audio.
Away from dedicated studio hard- and software, Advanced Communication Solutions has been appointed as the European manufacturer and distributor of Sensaphonics Hearing Conservation products. ACS will be showing the Sensaphonics 3D Active Ambient in-ear monitor (IEM) system, the first IEM system to add full-range, natural ambient sound to an on-stage mix.
And finally, bargain-hunters will be given the opportunity to upgrade pro audio gear on the Shure Distribution Stand. To take advantage of this offer, visitors simply need to bring their used audio equipment to stand 251 and they will qualify for a minimum £10 rebate when they purchase a new product. This is in addition to some special show prices.
Other confirmed Sounds Expo exhibitors include hi-tech manufacturers like Yamaha, Mackie, Focusrite, Apple and M-Audio and music education facilities Alchemea, the Academy of Contemporary Music and SAE.
With a program of exclusive seminars planned alongside an exhibition of the very latest production equipment, Sounds Expo is a must-visit event for anyone involved or interested in recording, remixing or producing.
