Premier Holds Clinic In Northern Ireland With Jim Kilpatrick MBE

Leicester, England, 9 Fenruary 2007 — World famous percussion manufacturer Premier Percussion recently held a performance clinic with world renowned Snare Drummer Jim Kilpatrick MBE at the Mechanics Institute Club in Lurgan, Northern Ireland. The event took place on Monday 29th January in association with Victor Stewart Enterprises.

Jim Kilpatrick MBE, Drum Major with The House of Edgar Shotts & Dykehead Pipe Band is one of the top percussionists in the world today having won 16 World Solo Drumming Championships, 18 World Drum Corps Championships and 15 Champion of Champions drum corps titles. Jim showcased his amazing performance skills and technique to a crowd of drummers representing some of Northern Ireland’s leading marching bands. Jim also hosted the official launch of Premiers all new Wood Hooped Marching Snare Drum, the 98-S.

The new 98-S features a 4mm Birch shell, chrome fittings, top and bottom snares and natural wood hoops for a great traditional look and sound. The drum was exceptionally well received and is set to strengthen Premiers popular line of traditional marching drums.
