Almost 500 people attended as Jupiter hosted the evening of drinks, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment at the Anaheim Hilton to celebrate with special guests and performers Dale Fielder Jazz Quartet, Dirty Dozen Brass Band and the Boston Brass. Nearly all attendees stayed for the full three hours of the reception and received autographed posters from the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Boston Brass following their performances on the new XO instruments.
“The overwhelming dealer response was fantastic — we had to move from our original location to a larger space,” said Jupiter’s Artist Relations Coordinator Rick DeJonge. “The XO event was a huge success for Jupiter and the launching of the XO line. From the decorations and the food, to the incredible performances, it was a perfect night.”
In the Sunday Music Inc. Best in Show awards, Jupiter claimed a mention in the Companies to Watch category. Panel member Ted Eschliman, co-owner of Nebraska’s Dietze Music said, “They continually improve their product. Their margins have always been good. Now, they’ve come out with their new XO line of professional instruments. X and O, of course, means hugs and kisses. And that’s what people will have for Jupiter once they try this line. I’m excited about selling step-up horns again.”
The development of Jupiter’s XO models was the direct result of collaboration between players, designers and craftsman to achieve instruments with exceptional playability. Each model features a hand-hammered bell and unique engraving, while model-specific details carry the instrument to another level of performance.
