Cycling “74 Releases Cyclops Video Tracking Object For Max/MSP For Mac Intel

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, February 1, 2007 — Cycling “74, a San Francisco-based music and video software company, today released Cyclops v. 1.3 which adds Universal Binary support for Intel-based Macs running OS 10.4 or later. Cyclops, developed by Eric Singer of Code Artistry LLC, is a Max/MSP object for video color, grayscale and motion detection. It is a perfect solution for artists and performers who want to add video control to their work without investing in expensive standalone hardware or software.

Cyclops” control output allows for seamless integration of motion control and object tracking into Max/MSP, our interactive programming environment. Max/MSP and the Jitter video/3D graphics objects are already available for Intel-based Macs.
