Parker Guitars Announces Three New Basses For 2007 [ Winter NAMM 2007 ]

Chicago, IL — January 5, 2007 — Parker Guitars is pleased to announce the addition of three new basses for 2007 with the PAB40, the PB51, and the PB61.

Parker will introduce its first acoustic bass, the PAB40 at 2007 Winter NAMM. The PAB40 features an American Black Walnut body, our patented feedback suppressing Soundslot system, and an exclusive customized Fishman Matrix Pickup system for outstanding acoustic bass tones. The PAB40 will have a list price of $1799 and will ship with a Deluxe Hardshell Case.

Parker also expands its PB series with the PB51 and the PB61. Both the PB51 and the PB61 will feature a mahogany body with a string-thru bridge, a neck-thru mahogany and ebony neck with an ebony fingerboard, and active EMG-35 pickups.

The PB51 will be available with a flame maple top in a Trans Red Finish, will list for $1899, and will ship with a Custom Parker Gig Bag.

The PB61 will be available with a Spalted Maple Top in a Satin Finish, will list for $1999, and will ship with a Custom Parker Gig Bag.
