Ibanez To Debut New EWC Acoustic-Electric [ Winter NAMM 2007 ]

First Smaller Body for the Exotic Wood Line

Anaheim, CA, 18 January 2007 — Ibanez will unveil a new addition to its popular Exotic Wood Series acoustic guitars at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, California in January 2007. The latest model, the EWC30ASERLG, features the same signature Exotic Wood shape, but in a smaller size than the original Exotic Wood models. The EWC30ASERLG features a body of Figured Ash and a B-Band® UST pickup with the Ibanez SRTn Pre-Amp with notch filter and onboard tuner.

The EWC30ASERLG lists for $571.42.

Commented Irene Shvartsman of Ibanez Acoustic Guitars about the new EWC “mini-EW”: “What we strive to do at Ibanez Acoustics is to keep expanding our offerings with really different guitars so every acoustic player can find exactly the right instrument for his or her needs. The new EWC gives the player who wants a smaller body—either for comfort or projection reasons—the great sonic and visual colors of the Exotic Wood Series.

The new EWC30CERLG acoustic-electric model features a width a 15” width and 3.75 depth (vs. a 16” width and 5” depth for the original EW models).
