Necessitated by the success of the Planet Waves Cable Station since its launch at the CEDIA show in 2005, D’Addario provides the optimum skill set, having worked with Planet Waves during the germination of the custom installation product line. Combining D’Addario’s unique experiences as an audio specialist and performing musician, he recognizes the importance of tailoring components of the signal chain with unfailing accuracy and durability.
In his new position as Product Manager D’Addario will oversee all marketing and sales of D’Addario’s Custom Installation products, the company’s first venture out of the music products industry. D’Addario will work directly with the company’s Vice Presidents of Product Management and Sales, as well as supervise a national network of independent representative firms to develop products, establish marketing plans, implement sales programs and execute key strategies as it relates to the brand.

Before joining D’Addario, Rob, a graduate from DePaul University in Sound Recording Technology, worked for digital media and software providers. Upon joining D’Addario in 2002, he became E-Business Project Manager, Business Systems Analyst, Product Development Leader for the PW Custom Installation line, and has assisted with research and development for the company’s Evans brand of drumheads.
