FARMINGDALE, NY, January 17, 2006 — D’Addario’s unprecedented growth has led to changes in corporate structure designed to take reflect, and take advantage of, the current domestic and global business milieu.
A direct result of the reorganization is the promotion of two long time D’Addario employees, Trish Frazzetto and Jennifer Verdi Cohen.
A graduate of the University of Richmond, Trish Frazzetto joined D’Addario in 2002 following a budding career in public relations that encompassed working in two successful political campaigns in Virginia. Thereafter, she assumed duties in New York public relations firms, ending up as Senior Account Manager in an agency specializing in music industry public relations. Frazzetto joined D’Addario as Public Relations Manager in 2002. Her current promotion is to Public Relations & Promotions Manager. She will manage all media placement, brand and corporate public relations, and promotions. In addition, she will promote the D’Addario Foundation for the Performing Arts. In addition, Frazzetto will serve as the on-site show and events manager.
Jennifer Verdi Cohen, a graduate of the University of Florida-Gainesville, joined D’Addario in 2000 as Marketing Coordinator. As the company has grown, her role has expanded. Her promotion to Events & Marketing Resources Planner reflects the need for thorough knowledge and expert management of several key functions that straddle marketing, sales and operations. Her newly-created position will see her overseeing all marketing print materials. In addition, Cohen’s new duties will include managing and coordinating all shows, meetings and events, assessing space requirements and logistics, this in addition to overseeing departmental training and assisting the VP of Product Management.
