The Return Of A Classic - TRX Cymbals Introduces 20″ Crash-Rides [ Winter NAMM 2007 ]
January 1st 2007 — The TRX Cymbals Co. has announced the introduction of their 20″ Crash-Ride cymbals in DRK, MDM, ALT and BRT models. Designed to provide a unique, aggressive sound and superior performance, TRX Crash-Rides are based on the classic, dual-purpose cymbals of the 1960’s, but are tweaked for today’s progressive players and ready to make modern history.
By combining the more pronounced bell and lower profile of a ride cymbal with the medium weight and taper of a crash cymbal the TRX Crash-Rides feature the roar of a crash and the definition of a ride— making them ideal for a variety of classic, modern and progressive rock situations.
TRX 20″ Crash-Rides have a suggested retail price of $450.00 each and are available at leading drumshops.

With WeImprovise! I set out to build a different kind of promotion & discovery platform — supportive, expansive, & inclusive, for music, musicians (students, performers, educators, & researchers), and the wide-ranging industry that supports music worldwide.
The focus is jazz, blues, & roots-folk-world music — incidentally the music that feeds pop & rock creativity — along with the inclusion of cultural & sociological aspects without which the music cannot truly be engaged with.
What you see is the beginning, a proof of concept to demonstrate possibilities and inspire ideas.
