Chicago, IL — January 5, 2007 — Washburn Guitars is pleased to introduce the WB400SW and the WB400SWCE. While these guitars have the body volume of ordinary concert sized guitars, we compressed the body’s length and enlarged the lower bout, creating more vibrating top surface around the bridge, resulting in a big balanced sound from a small yet full scale guitar. The WB400 will feature solid wood construction, a bone nut and saddle, and ebony fingerboard and bridge.

The WB400SW features a Solid Cedar Top, Solid Rosewood Back and Sides, and will have a list price of $1,499.90.

The WB400SWCE features a Solid Spruce Top, Solid Rosewood back and sides with a Venetian cutaway and an Exclusive Fishman Designed pickup, making it an ideal guitar for playing on stage. The WB400SWCE will have a list price of $1,799.90.

Both the WB400SW and the WB400SWCE will debut at Winter NAMM 2007 in Anaheim and ship with a hard shell case.
