9 October 2006 — The saxophonists and clarinetists of the “Bigband der Bundeswehr” (Klaus Dierolf, Peter Esser, Christoph Heftrig, Peter Jenal, Heinz Mainz und Christoph Müller) (Bigband of the German Federal Armed Forces) have been playing Julius Keilwerth saxophones and W. Schreiber clarinets for many years. This partnership has now been expanded. The musicians now also play W. Schreiber 3000 Series transverse flutes. These were presented to them on the occasion of the last open air concert of the season by Schreiber & Keilwerth marketing and sales director Andreas Gafke in Plauen. The musicians were immediately impressed with the sound and quality of the flutes and used them directly in concert.
The W. Schreiber 3000 Series transverse flutes are available with a nickel silver body with solid silver head joint, with or without E-mechanism or a solid silver body and head joint, with or without E-mechanism as well as with closed flaps or with ring flaps.

With WeImprovise! I set out to build a different kind of promotion & discovery platform — supportive, expansive, & inclusive, for music, musicians (students, performers, educators, & researchers), and the wide-ranging industry that supports music worldwide.
The focus is jazz, blues, & roots-folk-world music — incidentally the music that feeds pop & rock creativity — along with the inclusion of cultural & sociological aspects without which the music cannot truly be engaged with.
What you see is the beginning, a proof of concept to demonstrate possibilities and inspire ideas.
