MELVILLE, NY, December 5, 2006 — Hawthorne Heights graced this summer’s Van’s Warped Tour and recently took a headlining spot on the Nintendo Fusion Tour. The band’s hard rock sound gets a boost from three guitar players — Micah Carli, JT Woodruff and Casey Calvert — each with a distinctive tone and style.

Pictured are guitarists Micah Carli (left) and JT Woodruff of Hawthorne Heights with their VOX AC30CC2X Custom Classic amps.

The guitarists share an affinity for VOX, and Carli explains, “I just absolutely love the amps. I had an AC15 for a while and then I got the AC30CC2X Custom Classic that I’ve been using live for the last year or two now. It’s just amazing sounding. We used them in the studio a bunch, too!” Carli continues, “One feature I love to use is the spring reverb. You can hear it in our new single, “Pens and Needles’ and our last single, “Saying Sorry.” We definitely feature the AC30CC2X’s on those songs.”
