December 4, 2006 — Mapex has announced that it will extend its “Buy the Kit, Get the Cat” promotion on Pro M Series of drum sets throughout 2007. The promotion rewards consumers that purchase a 2007 model Pro M drum set with a latest edition of a free Black Panther auxiliary Maple and Cherry Snare Drum. The free Black Panther Snare drum is a 13x6, featuring 2.3mm Chrome Mapex Powerhoops and a thin maple and cherry shell. The drum carries a retail value of $529.99.
