Selmer LaVie AS240 Alto Saxophone
The Selmer LaVie models AS250 alto and TS250 tenor saxophones feature a yellow brass bell mounted on a bronze body with a bronze neck that delivers a dark, rich sound. A traditional Selmer-size bell flare centers and focuses the sound, not allowing it to get too broad. The Selmer models AS240 and TS240 features a red brass body and neck with a yellow brass bell for a warm sound, but slightly brighter than the bronze models.

All Selmer LaVie models feature high F# and high G keys for better control of these often-challenging notes. On the low end, double cup arms on the low B, Bb and C helps to maintain adjustment and regulation, a frequent problem on lesser instruments. All outfits include a genuine BAM Trek-style case, a professional level mouthpiece and accessories.
The new Selmer LaVie series joins the legendary Selmer (Paris) saxophone models and the recently introduced Selmer LaVoix line of intermediate models. The new models provide players a high-performance Selmer option for those unable to reach the famed Selmer Paris level of instruments.
